June Meeting

Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild's photo.

It might be a little warm to snuggle under a quilt, but it is the perfect temperature to DESIGN your own quilt fabric! This month's meeting will be a SPOONFLOWER class on how to create and order your own one-of-a-kind fabric! Get CREATIVE! Start dreaming up those awesome fabric designs and come check out the spoonflower LMQG fabrics!
**Bring your own laptop if you would like to design along. WiFi available.
Where: The Bernina Sewing Studio @ 1265 So. Cotner (Piedmont Center)
When: June 30th (Last Tuesday of Month)
Time: 5:30 - 7 pm

We want to see your summer projects so bring them to share and we will see you next week!!!

********************************

Here is an example of some fabric that a friend of mine, Lorna, from the blog Sew Fresh Quilts has whipped up.  She made up a few designs and had them printed at Spoonflower.

Once the fabric was received she dove into these sweet watermelon treats.

The ant fabric is perfect for these projects. For information on the patterns and fabric you can go directly to Lorna's blog.  Come to the meeting to find out how you can design and print your own fabric.

We hope to see you there!!

This sounds like so much fun. I've played a little on Spoonflower, but haven't come up with anything worth printing! Have a great time!

Thanks Jean, it was fun! Suzanne ordered the groups logo in a couple FQ's so we were able to see how it works. I am sure you will come up with wonderful fabrics.
