Sew Day Recap Nov. 2023
We had a great time at Sew Day. In honor of Veteran's Day, we cut strips for Quilts of Valor.
and we worked on our own projects
We were delighted that the members of the beeutifullymodernquilt bee were there, working on their fantastic bee quilts, thanks to Queen Bee Liz!

Sew Day November 2023
Join us for our Sew Day. Fabrics will be provided to cut strips for Quilts of Valor or bring your own. Strips are to be cut 1.5-2.5” wide. Bring ruler, mat and rotary cutter. Blocks will be assembled in February at a special Quilts of Valor event at IQM.
Or, bring your own projects to sew!
There will be a Quilt of Valor presentation at 1pm to a local veteran.

Program: Applique, More Than Two Ways
Bonnie Kucera showed us her projects that feature hand applique, both needle-turn and freezer paper methods, as well as some machine applique.
Pat Modrell showed us her applique circles, turned with interfacing.
Elisa Salas showed us her projects featuring fusible applique, reverse applique, and whatever works!
