Omaha Quilters' Guild 45th Annual Quilt Show

On behalf of the Omaha Quilters Guild.  Our guild hosts a quilt show each year in June. We display approximately two hundred quilts.  The quilts range in size from small wall hangings to large bed quilts.  They encompass a variety of styles and patterns, from traditional to modern.  The work may be done by hand or machine, and may be appliqued or pieced.  Some of the quilts are judged and awarded ribbons.  In addition, we have a variety of vendors displaying their wares, along with a chance to purchase a ticket to win a beautiful quilt made by one of our members. The drawing for this quilt is held at the end of the show. (You need not be present to win!) We also have a mercantile with items of interest to quilters. Finally, we have a section reserved to showcase the quilts made by our featured quilter.  This year’s featured quilter is award-winning OQG member, Janelle Reed.

We all enjoy connecting with other quilters and being able to share our love of quilting.  We are sure that you and your fellow quilters would enjoy viewing the variety of quilts that will be on display at the show so we are inviting your members to attend.  The show will be held at the La Vista Conference Center, 12520 Westport Parkway in La Vista.  There is free parking available at the hotel.

Show hours are:

Thursday, June 20 - 5 - 8 p.m.
Friday, June 21 - 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday, June 22 - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Single day admission is $10.00. We offer a multiple day pass for $15.00. Seniors (65+) or groups of 10 or more (the group must come to the admission table as a group) pay $9.00. Payment may be made with cash or a check.

If you have any questions, please call or email me, Carol Nish.  My phone number is 402-618-0304.  My email is carolnish@gmail.com.  We hope to see some of your members at the show.  I am sure that they would enjoy seeing the beautiful quilts.
