April Meeting Highlights

From the April 25th Meeting  

"Technology in a Modern Guild" presented by members Kristie Jarchow and Jennifer Van Dyke. "iKristie" helped us navigate our own Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild blog and the Modern Quilt Guild website and showed us many places of interest for quilters on the web. 

The LMQG blog has all the information you will need for upcoming guild activities. This information is also shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, so be sure to like and follow us on those social media platforms. You can find them by clicking on the buttons in the sidebar!

Curves Challenge  
Completed Curves Ahead Challenge pieces are due at the May meeting. There will be prizes for the top three viewers choice. We will NOT have regular Show and Tell in May as we would like to view the submissions for the challenge. You can bring your current Modern show and tell to the June Sew day for sharing! Please bring your ideas for future programming.

June 3 Sew Day at IQSCM, 9:30-3:30 for LMQG members only.  
Open sewing or make wallhangings and pillowcases (pillow case kits provided) for Habitat for Humanity

 June 15 & 16th: LMQG Road Trip! 

Road Trip to the Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival. LMQG members only.  Reservations due by June 1.  Contact Sheila Green for details
