Trending were bold, saturated colors, neons with designs that spoke "Maximalism," Op Art and nostalgia. Many quilts featured curves, circles and optical illusion. Quilting was a key element with machine and hand stitches using a wide variety and colors of threads including variegated and metallic. Patchwork garments and bags were plentiful. Worksmanship and complexity of design continue to improve. All in all, an awesome QuiltCon with great friends, show quilts, vendors, lectures and workshops!
Hope to see you in Raleigh, NC for QuiltCon 2024!
