February Sew Day



Time to sew with your fellow members, get to know each other, and share ideas!

Own projects: Bring your own projects you'd like to work on

Make it new again: Continuing from our January meeting, bring your orphan block(s) or block(s) you'd like to have help making modern.

Supplies

You may be asking, "What should I bring?" We'll have a station with ironing and cutting mats. What people often bring are:

  • Usually
    • Fabric and material for your projects
    • Machine (if needed -  don't forget your foot pedal and power cord)
    • Scissors
    • Rotary cutter
    • Extra needles
    • Pins
  • Good to haves
    • Power strips
    • Extension cords
    • Iron
    • Small cutting mat, rotary cutter, rules
Bring a lunch (refrigeration and microwave are available) or eat at local restaurants.

Sew Days: Every other month at the IQSCM - February 8th, April 11, Jun 13th, August 8th: 10:15 am to 3 PM. October date pending.

Pop up workshops: Long Arm Quilting with Mary Dittenber. This amazing opportunity is space limited, so Mary kindly offered 2 classes.
