 Abou:

"I started teaching myself to quilt when I decided to make quilts for my wonderful nieces and nephews.  Then, I found my first quilting home with the African American Quilters of Baltimore, who gently taught me the best techniques to express my quilt vision.

Today, I design patterns to help beginning and experienced quilters confidently dive into modern quilting.  I am excited about modern quilting because it is all about bringing individualism and free expression to the way we design and make quilts today.  I hope that my patterns will inspire you to find ways to let your own creative voice shine.

I lecture and teach live virtual and on-demand classes on modern quilting techniques for beginning and experienced quilters.   I hope that you will consider inviting me to share my love of modern quilting with your group!  On this site, I’ve provided descriptions of the lectures and workshops that I offer—and please do get in touch with me if you have additional questions.

The best way to reach me is through the Contact Me page or email me at info@carolelylesshaw.com

Happy Modern Quilting!  — Carole"
