March Meeting Recap

We did it!!

Thank you, everyone, for attending our inaugural virtual meeting.

Our members shared how Covid 19 was affecting them. We sadly heard of members who had family and friends with illness and who had passed. Others have continued working, many from home. Our members continued sewing - quilts and PPE (personal protection equipment) for frontline responders.

Albie Osborn shared her Quilt Journey - not only are her quilting skills impressive, this is her first presentation and she did fabulously. Please find it here

We shared show and tell for as long as Zoom would allow. It was so lovely seeing everyone!

Please, share pics of your projects/masks/bonnets and share your posts about how things are going on our Facebook page.

Challenges:

April 11th Sew day:

A virus won't slow us down! We'll have it as planned. We'll sew separately at home, post pics on Facebook and/or Instagram and have a live Show and Tell at 2:30. Please see your email for the meeting link. If you don't get the link (for members only), please email or IM Elisa Salas (drquiltpath@gmail.com).
We'll sew independently and join zoom

Thank you to all who showed up. We'll continue the virtual meetings and look forward to the time we can meet in person again.
