Raffle During Covid
Dear LMQG Member,
We hope you are safe and well and we miss seeing you! In the face of these challenging times, we’ve tapped into our creativity to continue to bring you virtual educational monthly meetings and expanded our Sew Days to monthly instead of every other month. Our monthly meetings will continue virtually (to keep our members safe) as planned through November.
Because we miss seeing you, we've pieced a surprise. September 12th, in the place of our Sew Day, we’ll have an outdoor gathering that morning in accordance with health measures (with a rain date of September 19th). Our gathering will be a socially distanced in-person show-and-tell to see what you have been doing. We hope to include a small educational program. Details will come in August, depending, of course, on the current status of the virus in Lincoln.
The LMQG Board has been looking at our budget and wondering how to make up for our inability to fundraise during this pandemic. Normally, we could count on raffle ticket sales each month, but we have not been able to meet in person. However, we have some wonderful raffle prizes, so we stitched up this plan!
We are asking you to send a donation to LMQG and your name will be put in the drawing for our raffle prizes. A $20 check gives you two chances, $30 gives you three and on up. If you want, you can include a note telling us which numbered prize in which you wish your entry to be placed. We have put photos of the 8 groups of prizes on our blog and Facebook. You’ll want all of them!

LincolnModernQuiltGuild/ The board members will deliver prizes to the winners’ doorsteps and ring the bell, like the FedEx delivery person, mask and all.
This drawing will take place on October 20. Winners will be announced during our October 27 Guild Zoom meeting with delivery to follow. If you choose to participate, your check should be mailed by October 6 to assure you are included in the drawing with the proper amount of tickets. Please mail to LMQG; P.O. 5771; Lincoln, NE 68505.
Thanks in advance. Perhaps we will ring your doorbell!
