Program: Maria Shell -- Improv for Everyone

Maria gave us a great lecture that covered many topics, including the history and contested definitions of improvisational quilting, her journey from traditional precision piecing to improv with intention, as well as sound tips and techniques for successful improv quilting.

• Quilts exhibited August 3rd –6th
• State Fair – Registration – July 1st-Aug 8th
• Quilts can be dropped in Seward for transport to GI.
• Aug Meeting – 8/25/23  Sheila Green –  L Block and Maximalism.
• New challenge announced

• Threads Across Nebraska – Oct 13-14 – Kearney
• 10 large and 10 small quilts needed from LMQG  register by 8/30/23

• Fee: $165 members, register 8/1/23. $175 non-members, register 9/1/23
