Diane Gloystein was so much fun. She brought a large group of friends with her and shared much of her life as a wearable artist. From her years working for Sulky threads she embellished many garments and projects.
Diane shared with us some award winning garments made from unusual textiles and techniques. This garment felt like leather but it was a sulky product that was painted.
Diane shared her matching shoes to some of her outfits.
Many of her garments and unbelievable seam finishes...(they were fantastic)
From her travels around the world she brought several different fabrics that she found and will be making into something special like the cockroach fabric made into possible pants?
And of course she has also been drawn into quilt making. This was huge and beautiful on the front and a bit more modern on the back below.
A kids quilt she made special.
Diane was such and joy and her friends that came to see her works in person were a delight to have at our meeting.
