Surface Design
Supplies needed:
Foam Core Board – Covered with contact paper
PFD Fabric (Prepared for Dying) – or white fabric washed in synthropol or dawn to get out sizing
Paints – Fabric paints or Acrylic (must use textile medium with acrylic paint)
Sponge Brush

Solid Color Wash
Technique:
Wet fabric and wring out or use spray bottle with water.
Pin to foam core board
Mix fabric paint – 1 part paint to 1 part water
Mix acrylic paint 1 part paint to 1 parts water and 1 part textile medium
  (You can adjust these to your liking if you want more intense or less intense color)
Brush paint across fabric with sponge brush till covered.  Let dry completely at least 24 hours.
Heat set with iron on cotton setting (or hottest setting for fabric used).  Can be washed.
