Amy Friend Meeting

We are so excited to offer a workshop this meeting with Amy Friend!!

We'll discuss guild business then get right to the main talk

Amy will share her trunk show of her Improv Paper Piecing, getting us ready for the Saturday Workshop, on October 2nd.

We'll send a Zoom meeting link.

Volunteers needed!!

Are you going to Threads Across Nebraska, the Nebraska Quilt Guild Show in Kearney? If so, we need you! Volunteers needed October 8th and 9th - only 1-2 hours at a time to help relieve board members at the table. Please volunteer at the September Meeting.

We had a fabulous time selling our items and chatting with friends! The weather was perfect after the morning rain.

Announcements:

Retreat: Sign up for the October Retreat! It's almost a month away. You can pay via mail or PayPal. Please check the link for more details. We will be closely monitoring masking and other Covid guidelines as we negotiate this pandemic together.

Amy Friend Guild meeting September 28 is a virtual meeting. We'll send the Zoom link. You can watch alone or with your guildies!

Threads Across Nebraska – Kearney, October 8-9. Bring your labeled Cindy Grisdela quilts for the show no later than the September 28 meeting. If you still have your quilt, please contact Jennifer McKitrick to submit your quilt. Please check your email for the sign up sheet.

Covid quilts should be brought to Guild meeting no later than October 26. We will collect them to photograph them for consideration by the IQM.

The Bias Challenge quilts (20” x 20” minimum size) are due at the October 26 meeting.

QuiltCon Community Outreach Quilt: This year's theme is Angles. We want as much participation as possible. This Sew Day, September 11th, we'll have the materials to make your own block. The angles should NOT be 90 degrees (right angles)- all other degrees are fair game! The colors and more details can be found at the MQG Community Outreach 2022 website.
