Thinking about Joining LMQG?

Have you been thinking about joining a modern quilt guild? Did you know that by joining Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild (LMQG) you are automatically a member of the national Modern Quilt Guild (MQG)? There are some great benefits for both!

LMQG/MQG members get QuiltCon discounts & early registration, plus only members can submit their quilts to the largest modern quilt show in the world.

Members get access to the full library of over 200 modern quilt patterns and all of our previous content since the MQG started. This includes tutorials, webinars, make and takes, community news, and more.
You can join yearly challenges like the Make A Difference challenge, or participate in the Community Outreach Quilt Challenge at QuiltCon.

Connect with others in the quilting community through this local MQG-affiliated guild, through the MQG Community space or the Individual Members Coalition (IMC), and through activities like the MQG community sew along.

If all of that isn't enough, check out what's coming up with QuiltCon 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. Member Registration opens Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 9 a.m. CDT, https://quiltcon.com/ - then come to a meeting and join LMQG!

IQM First Friday Event this week!

Join us this Friday, June 7th for a First Friday presentation with our Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild members about their new exhibition "Second Chances: Upcycled Modern Quilts."
Inspired by "Feed Sacks: An American Fairytale," Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild members have created modern versions of vintage quilts using a variety of reclaimed materials. From used clothing to feed sacks and everything in between, these textiles are given new life in the upcycled creations.
First Fridays are FREE events held on the first Friday of each month. Enjoy free access to the IQM galleries from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
