Jim's birthday is coming up so we surprised him with a Happy Birthday song and cookie. We hope he has safe travels for the next several months!
We enjoyed a visit from our new friend, Marla, who stopped by the museum on her way to Paducah. She was nice enough to help us get started on our QuiltCon quilt! Check out her Facebook page, Penny Lane Quilts.
Our next sew day will be November 11th, 2017.

Join us this Saturday for Sew Day! We will be working on our QuiltCon charity quilt. Please bring your sewing machine and white, off white or lt. gray thread. It would be good if a couple people could bring cutting mats, rulers and rotary cutters. Julie will give us a tutorial on how to make the blocks and then we will sew sew sew! Hope to see you there!

****There are golf cart pick-ups periodically. Make sure you can carry your supplies if one is not available. You can park temporarily near the building and unload but will have to park up on Lot K. There are restrooms very near and food by the entrance most times and the room has A/C.

Raffle tickets will be sold while sewing at the fair for our "Ne 150 Habitat Quilt"

Thank you all so much for all your help and making this such a fun guild to belong to!
**Member Linda Gale is wanting to give away a couple of quilt frames. (I actually have 2 frames that I don't use. The first is a wooden frame for hand quilting that has only been used once. It is selling for $149. The other is a Gracie Queen 4 rail system for use with a domestic frame. It is selling for $999 at Wal-Mart online. I will give these away to anyone that will pick them up.) contact her lindagale@gmail.com
