Please bring your sewing machines and basic supplies to try some improv piecing or to work on your latest project. We will start out talking 'Improv' and sharing what we have been working on. Many of us tried the "Floating squares score" from Sherri Lynn Woods book The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters. Maybe we will have some progress on those??  Bring anything for show and share and let's get to sewing.

Thanks for coming out and joining us for our July meeting. We want to Thank Janeese Olsson from Calico House and Allie Luedtke from Crafthouse.

Janeese sharing a bag and a new line of fabric made up the lovely quilt top.

Allie shared lots of garments and this lovely bag from the store.

Lots of quilty goodness was shared by the group.

Some newbies to the group showed and shared some of their works.

Lots of fun and exciting projects were shared. Next  meeting will be the last August 25th at the Bernina Sewing Studio 5:30 -7p.m.

Also our Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild sponsored a special award for "Best Modern Quilt" at the Lancaster County Super Fair this year. The prize went to our own, Jennifer VanDyke for her SuperNova Friendship Quilt.

Lots more quilts to see at the Fair so stop over at the Lancaster Event Center until Saturday Aug 8th till 8 p.m. and there are more of the Modern Quilt photos on our FB page. HERE

Thank you to all that have donated to our group so we could make this happen!

Hope to see you at the Museum for our next sew day!!
