Art Element Line with Debbie Ebke:
Wonderful talk about the Art element of line. It is apparent in almost any quilt design, be it in the piecing or the quilting, helping tell the story of that piece.

Vicky Beezly Bidell on Art Quilts.
Vicky has been participating in the Cherrywood Fabric Challenge for several years. Her pieces, to date, have all made the cut each year. With thought and innovation and in her case, dreams, she has come up with unique entries each time.

LMQG Art Quilt Challenge
Vicky, and the board, now challenge you to discover your inner art quilter in the Art Quilt Challenge!
Choose a piece of art that inspires you. It can be from the fine art world, a comic book, or even your next door neighbor.
Take and/or print a picture of the object that inspired your piece so we can see what you started with, and how your inspiration turned it into your own work of art.
( Please do not COPY the inspiration piece. )
In creating your work, include elements of Modern quilting and Art Elements such as asymmetry, negative space, line, shape and color.
The piece must be at least 24" x 24" and no larger than a throw ( 50" x 50" )
You may embellish your piece with anything you feel fits your inspiration such as beading, cording, yarns, glitter etc..
You will have until January 28, 2020 to produce a finished art quilt to share with us all.
