31 meeting will be a “trunk” sale in the IQM parking lot. Members are encouraged to gather up things
from their sewing room they no longer want or need, price them and bring them
to our outdoor meeting to sell and to purchase someone else’s things. At the IQM

Retreat: Oct. 22-24, 2021, at HazelDillon Lodge @ Camp Carol Joy Holling. Fee is $160 per person and will include
two meals per day plus snacks. Sign-up
sheet is available at this meeting. LMQG members and their friends can sign up
through August 1, after which registration will be open to Omaha quilters and
others. Forty-one quilters can be
accommodated in bottom bunks. The Retreat Committee is Mary Dittenber, Elisa
Salas, Sheila Green, Mary Sedlak and Sara Kenny. You can pay with our new PayPal button on the retreat page.
· Amy Friend virtual workshop: Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Fee is $25. Limited to LMQG members wanting to learn about Improv Paper Piecing. Limit of 20 people. Sign-up sheet available at this meeting.
· Collecting Cindy Grisdela Challenge quilts to display at the Threads Across Nebraska show, October 8-9, 2021, in Kearney. Limit of one per person. They must be labeled and may be left at tonight’s meeting or brought to the August 31, meeting.
· IQM interested in your Covid Quilts. Finish it and bring it to the October meeting for a photo.
· Raffle Quilt: Our Coral and Cream quilt will be raffled at Threads Across Nebraska and continuing through the end of the year. More details to come.
· Raffle: There will be two raffle’s this evening and a drawing for our two-month raffle that includes a registration for the Amy Friend workshop, her book Improv Paper Piecing, and an add-a-quarter ruler, a $58 value. If you win and have already paid for the workshop, your payment will be refunded.
· Lancaster County Super Fair: Thu, Jul 29 – Sun, Aug 7
