Modern Element of Texture presented by Sarah Maseth
There are many things that could add texture to a quilt. The most common is the quilting itself as seen in this piece by http://www.terryaskeartquilts.com/
Other ways to add texture would be folding the fabric as seen in this image of a folded cathedral block by The Jaded Spade.
The fabric itself may add to the texture of a quilt like this piece by https://www.carsonconverse.com/
Transparency may also add a layer of texture to a quilt with it's illusion of being many layers
interpreted, constructed, and quilted by Callie Works-Leary
Breaking the Grid http://craft-happy.blogspot.com/2014/07/breaking-grid.html
Adding texture, and possibly more interest to your quilts can be achieved in many different ways.
