Welcome to 2025! We have a great year of programming planned for you. We hope you enjoy it. Remember we are always interested in your input and suggestions.
There are a few scheduling changes this year: Sew Days will meet on the second Saturday of even months (February, April, June, August). The first Sew Day will be February 8th and our very own Kristie Jarchow will lead an activity on making charity quilts quickly. You don’t want to miss this one.
The Board has decided to discontinue the Zoom option for meetings as the technical set-up was challenging and very few members used the option.
Our first guild meeting will be Tuesday, January 28 at 5:30pm at the IQM. Guess who our presenters are for the January meeting? It’s You! We want to learn about your modern quilting journey. Each of you can bring 1-3 quilts. One should show your beginnings in modern quilting. Maybe it’s your first effort or your “almost modern”. One could be your most recent modern quilt, and one could be your favorite quilt. Choose quilts that will illustrate your modern quilting progress. Be prepared to tell us what you have learned and what has most challenged you.
We can’t wait to see everyone and get to know each other better.
*TLDR = "Too Long, Didn't Read", as the kids like to say.
